GIOVANNI LAMI, Ravenna 1978.

Giovanni started to pursue photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ravenna with professor Guidi in 2002. In 2005, he graduated in Photography from the European Institute of Design in Rome.

Since 2008, Giovanni has been collaborating with Dead Meat brand in campaigns that appeared in VICE Italia, Rolling Stone Italia and other magazines. Apnea is the only Italian project to be exhibited at the Fifth International Festival of Photography Chobi Mela in Dacca, Bangladesh. As the winner of the national edition of Area Progetto, the Civic Art Gallery of Modena is going to host his personal exhibition in 2010. Giovanni is going to Norway: he has been chosen for artistic residence in Kristiansand, where he is going to develop a project and hold a lesson on large format photography.
