Lorenzo Maccotta

Lorenzo is a photographer, who works as a freelance on contemporary issues.

Having graduated Aestethic in Philosophy in 2005, he explored the immigration issue in Italy collaborating with Médecins sans frontières.

Although still focused on doing report coverage, he also collaborates on the preparation of various photographical books and exhibitions (FotoGrafia, International Festival of Rome, Artèfoto, International Festival of Photojournalism, Photocapalbio Festival, Re-Imagine Europe).

He first moved to Barcelona in 2007, then to London, whereas today he lives in Rome.
